What kind of training is provided as a new team member? +

We have a robust training and development program that will get you ready for the first day on the job. We will provide you the skills and tools necessary to get where you want to go in your career, including:

  • Pride & Purpose new hire orientation to learn about the company, it’s history, culture and customer service expectations
  • Position-specific training through the GROW! online platform
  • Daily micro and on-the-job training for growth development
  • Career path development for leadership and specialty roles

What other training and development opportunities does Lunds & Byerlys offer to its team members? +

We are committed to supporting any efforts you make to advance your career and education, including company-funded training, tuition reimbursement and scholarships, just to name a few.

We also offer leadership development programs, culinary professional programs, department apprentice programs and internships.

What is your tuition reimbursement program? +

We offer up to $2,000 per year towards education for our part-time team members and up to $5,250 per year towards education for our full-time team members.

Does Lunds & Byerlys promote from within? +

Absolutely! We value the unique skill sets our team members bring to the table and promote from within whenever possible. We also offer cross-training opportunities and career development assistance.

Is Lunds & Byerlys union? +

Most of our retail and manufacturing positions are union. We have several union contracts, all of which include language about vacation, benefits, break times, regular pay raises, etc. All union members pay union dues each month.

How often will I get paid? +

We offer weekly pay and a pay on-demand option for team members.

What are the hours and schedule? +

Team member hours may vary based on your needs and our business needs. We typically need all hands on deck on weekends, so weekend availability is highly desired. Our part-time team members generally work anywhere between 15-28 hours per week, although some positions, such as carryouts, can request to work fewer hours per week. Our full-time team members work 40 hours per week.

How do I apply for hourly and full-time positions? +

All current job openings are available on our careers site. Our application is mobile friendly and takes about 5-10 minutes to complete.

What is the hiring process? +

We pride ourselves on an efficient and timely hiring process. After you submit an application, the hiring manager or our recruiting team will review your application details. You may be prompted immediately upon application, or later in the process, to complete a one-way video interview or phone interview. Following that initial screening, we may invite you to one of our locations for an in-person interview or extend you a job offer.
