New Lunds & Byerlys in St. Paul’s Highland Bridge Development Opening September 29 at 3 p.m.

SAINT PAUL, Minn. (September 20, 2022) – A new Lunds & Byerlys on the corner of Ford Parkway and Cretin Avenue in St. Paul’s Highland Bridge development will open on Thursday, September 29.


A grand opening ceremony will take place at 2:30 p.m. featuring remarks by Tres Lund, CEO of Lunds & Byerlys; St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter; and Maureen Michalski, vice president of real estate development at Ryan Companies. The store will then officially open at 3 p.m.


Our current store in Highland Park, which is adjacent to our new Highland Bridge store, will remain open until the grand opening of the new store.


– Seemingly endless meal options, including a taco bar, Mediterranean bar, Hissho Sushi, hot food bar, salads, soups, sandwiches and more.


– The Mezz, a taproom located on the second level of the store with 30 self-serve taps featuring local craft beer, seltzers and wine. – Two levels of covered, dedicated parking for our staff and customers.


– The same familiar, friendly staff from our old store will be at our new store.

The new store will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week and will also feature our exclusive Reserve Aged beef, sustainable seafood delivered fresh daily, locally grown and organic produce, hundreds of specialty cheeses from around the world, artisan bread, our exclusive Lunds & Byerlys products, a full-service Caribou Coffee, and Bachman’s Floral.


Highland Bridge is a 122-acre mixed-use development on the former site of Ford Motor Company’s Twin Cities assembly plant. Ryan Companies US, Inc. is the master developer. The development will include 3,800 housing units, 265,000 square feet of employment and institutional space, approximately 150,000 square feet of retail space and 55 acres of public and open space, including 10 miles of pedestrian and bike paths, four public parks and three civic gathering areas.
