Grilled Cornbread with Goat Cheese, Bacon & Chives

This wonderful sweet and savory appetizer is perfect for picnics and BBQs. If you don’t have a grill, you can use a panini press, too.


1. Start by heating your grill to medium high. Slice our Mini Cornbread Loaves into ½-inch slices and brush each side with olive oil. Cook for 3-5 minutes per side and set aside.


2. Place uncooked bacon on a sheet of heavy-duty foil and place on the top rack of the grill. Cook for 18-20 minutes, until crispy.


3. Top the cornbread slices with goat cheese, chopped bacon and chopped chives. Serve with Summit Pilsner.
