Guide to L&B Honey
September 1, 2024
September is National Honey Month and we are excited to celebrate this sweet holiday by honoring all the local beekeepers and honey producers right here in Minnesota. We’re proud to offer a variety of delicious locally produced honeys throughout our store and we invite you to try something new this year!
L&B Pure Honey (grocery department)
L&B Pure Honey is minimally processed U.S. Grade A honey locally produced in the St. Croix Valley. The bees pollinate in fields filled with clover, basswood, and goldenrod, giving the honey a distinct flavor profile. Available in three sizes – 16, 24 and 32 ounces – and perfect for use in recipes, tea, cocktails, and more!
L&B Minnesota Raw Honey (grocery department)
This delicious U.S. Grade A fancy Minnesota raw honey is harvested form bee hives in Washington County and has a distinct earthy, complex flavor with a fresh, clean taste. It’s perfect for drizzling on buttered toast, stirring into tea or mixed into baked goods. It’s also a great natural remedy for soothing sore throats and boosting immunity.
L&B Strawberry Hibiscus Honey Spread (deli department)
This decadent spread is made with perfectly ripened strawberries, floral hibiscus and 100% real solar-grown honey from Minnesota bees. Plus, it contains no processed sugar! Try it on a warm biscuit or English muffin, drizzled over ice cream, or as a sweet spread on a charcuterie board.
L&B Amber Honey (deli department)
Our amber honey has a mellow taste with a hint of richness. It’s locally produced by Minnesota bees and sustainably harvested. It’s smooth and light, which makes it a great substitute for sugar in recipes, drizzled over artisan cheese or mixed into yogurt or oatmeal.
L&B Sweet & Spicy Hot Honey (deli department)
Developed in partnership with Bare Honey exclusively for Lunds & Byerlys, this smokin’ creation combines local Grade A honey with vinegar and chili peppers to create a sweet heat. Drizzle it over charcuterie boards, pizza and chicken.
