Old-Fashioned Pot Roast in the Slow Cooker

Now you can have pot roast just like Grandma used to make, any night of the week! The secret ingredient: your slow cooker. Here’s what you need to do.
Ingredients

2medium yellow onions, roughly chopped

5large carrots, roughly chopped

1– 1 1/2 pounds beef chuck roast

2tablespoons L&B Beef – Roast Seasoning

4medium russet potatoes, roughly chopped

Kosher salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Parsley, for garnish

Place chopped onions and carrots in slow cooker with the roast on top of vegetables. Sprinkle with L&B Beef – Roast Seasoning. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

Add the chopped potatoes into the slow cooker and stir with the other vegetables. Continue cooking for 2 hours on low or 1.5 hour on high, or until beef is fork tender and falls apart.

Season with salt and pepper, as desired. Garnish with parsley.
