Tortilla-Wrapped Breakfast Sandwich

Saturday mornings are no time to cut corners on breakfast. It’s a time to sit back and relax with a mug of coffee and a bite that’s not a bar. But that doesn’t mean you have to work hard for it! Take a break from your routine with this simple and satisfying 5-step weekend heat-and-eat treat.

Ingredients

    L&B Ready-to-Heat Omelette
  • 2
    10" flour tortillas
  • 4
    slices Havarti cheese
  • 4-6
    ounces arugula
  • Cooking spray or oil
  • L&B Raspberry Habanero Hot Sauce, for serving

Directions

    Place the omelettes from one L&B Ready To Heat Omelette on a cutting board, and slice each in half.

    Place one tortilla on a cutting board. Place ½ of an omelette on the top left quadrant of the tortilla, the second half on the top right quadrant. Top each omelette half with 1 slice of Havarti cheese. Fold the tortilla in half over the omelettes.

    Place a handful of arugula on one side of the folded tortilla, then fold the tortilla in half again into a triangle. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the remaining omelette, another tortilla, and more cheese.

    Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and spray lightly with oil. Place the filled tortillas in the skillet, cover with a lid, and fry for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
