Adonis Spritz
September 5, 2025
If you’re unfamiliar with Adonis, let us introduce you. This classic drink is a low-proof cocktail that’s perfect for sipping. We took it a step further to make this delightful, light Adonis Spritz. It gives you the same cozy flavor with a little extra effervescence.
Our Adonis Spritz calls for both dry and sweet vermouth which gives it a robust flavor profile. The sweet vermouth brings in notes of citrus and vanilla that complement the orange bitters and slice of orange garnish. The dry vermouth adds herbaceous notes that play nicely with the nuttiness of the sherry. The result is a complex, bold flavor you won’t soon forget. Add the club soda and you’re ready to float away on a cocktail cloud.
Because sherry is a fortified wine rather than a liquor, this drink is fairly low-proof compared to traditional cocktails. So have one, or have a few—the Adonis Spritz has your back either way.
