Avocado Toast

Inspired by Minneapolis’s own Birchwood Café, this flavorful avocado toast is topped with crunchy radishes, fresh microgreens and a pinch of red pepper flakes.

Ingredients

    slices L&B Minnesota Nice Artisan Bread
  • 1
    avocado
  • 1
    tablespoon lime juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1
    radish, thinly sliced (a mandoline works well)
  • Small bunch microgreens or watercress
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Salt

Directions

    Toast bread in a toaster, toaster oven or in a skillet with 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter.

    Smash avocado with lime juice and a pinch of salt.

    Assemble toast: Spread avocado mixture on the toast; top with radish slices and microgreens. Garnish with red pepper flakes and another squeeze of lime juice to serve.
